A buyer can choose between the version with a processor Intel Core i5, 8 GB of RAM and hard drive with capacity of 500 GB and a very powerful version with the Intel Core i7, 16 GB of RAM and a 750 GB hard drive. Both have the same video card (nVidia GeForce GT 650M with 1 GB of memory). That’s why it need a decent cooling ,so M14x still looks like a fairly hefty “brick” with the weight of 2.92 kg while nowadays it’s far from standards for a 14-inch laptop. It has 1 kg more than normal laptops with similar screen sizes has. And the thickness of the Alienware is like the thivkness of two standard laptops.

In the process, even when surfing the internet, the notebook appreciably is heating, and the fans are working with the level of noise that is uncharacteristic for modern devices. Launch of “heavy” toys output noise on the obscene levels. But at this moment the built-in loud speakers with quite decent power come to the aid, that’s why the player don’t know anything about the fans’ noise.

Unfortunately, there are also some disadvantage such as the glossy screen, which furious glares in brightly lit rooms, and short battery life (on the average from three to four hours for normal loads, no more than two if you are watching a video or playing a game).

By the way, the touchpad doesn’t also particularly inspire: it is small, and is not very convenient to work with it.

But on this laptop everybody can easy set going many modern games while it’s impossible task for other gadgets. And with its stylish design the owner will have the ability to stand always out from the crowd.
