People are looking for ways to make their every day life less troublesome and safer. A study* made late last year suggests that personal safety is a rising trend. 40% of the respondents were already using devices that enhance their own or their loved ones’ safety. According to 71% they will play an even more important role in the future.

BiiSafe Buddy addresses the need of being connected and knowing everything is fine. With just one press you can search for your lost keys or other belongings that are attached to the BiiSafe Buddy. You can also share your location with friends and family. The receiver sees the sender’s location on his or her mobile on a map. If you need help, you can send an alert. The location information is also sent with the alert message.
BiiSafe Buddy consists of a stylish smartphone accessory and an app for iOS or Android. The device is wirelessly connected with the mobile using Bluetooth Smart. Design has played a key role in the product development. The device received the coveted Red Dot Product Design Award 2014. It is also one of the 10 finalists in AARP Health Innovation@50+ LivePitch.
* The survey was conducted by BiiSafe in September 2013 with a web-based questionnaire. There were 225 respondents, aged 18-65, from United States, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Finland.
