I was looking for a solution to play Blu-ray/DVD disc, folder or ISO and I have stumbled upon the Leawo Blu-ray Player.
The software allows a user to play Blu-ray and DVD movies on your PC even these are inside a .ISO file. If you are using the same DVD/Blu-Ray from multiple devices or you want to watch some movies and not to carry your DVD collection with you, transferring the DVDs on your HDD as .ISO files can be a good solution.
Using .ISO files was my favorite solution when I had a netbook because it came without a DVD player; therefore I copied my DVDs on my PC converting them to ISO format and then transferred them on my netbook. However I needed a software to play the files and I looked for solutions.
Since we all lik “free” stuffed I tested the free players first. The Leawo Blu-ray Player impressed me because it was simple and fast to install, the interface is very user friendly and it can play a lot of file formats (ISO, avi, mov, mp4, flv and much, much more).
This software is very useful because you can copy a DVD/Blu Ray in .ISO format and play it on different PCs. I used it to transfer some of my DVDs on my laptop and use them when needed without carrying several DVDs around.

Leawo Blu-ray Player review
I had the DVDs and I need to use them on multiple devices therefore I copied them as .ISO files and looked for a software to watch them. The Leawo player is the winner so far. It is simple to use and opens all the video files I needed until now. Because it is a free software I was concern I might come with Malware or Adware, but I had a nice surprise: the software is really free and I got zero annoying ads or malware.
In conclusion: the Leawo is a free Blu-Ray/DVD and video player which does its job well. It is slowly becoming my favorite player because it plays a large number of file formats and the software is stable. I also like the user friendly interface and the options panel from where I can tweak the settings as I want.
