LG has launched a challenge for aspiring artists studying in the top art schools around the U.S. Called The Art of The Pixel the competition is there to inspire and empower your artists and to create still and motion artwork for LG’s Ultra HD and OLED TVs. With the prizes in size of $5000 for the winners of EACH of the nine participating top art school, if you’re currently enrolled in one of them, this is a competition you don’t want to miss.
Here are the schools from where the students are eligible to participate:

* Laguna College of Art and Design
* Maryland Institute College of Art
* Pacific Northwest College of Art
* Rhode Island School of Design
* San Francisco Art Institute
* School of the Museum of Fine Arts
Besides the $5000 that the winner from each school will be getting, all the winners also get a free trip the New York City where the gala event will be taking place. The top winner will be going home with an additional $5000.
The Art of The Pixel is LG Electronics‘ first-ever New Media Competition for the young artists in the country and the idea is to inspire and empower the artists through the competition. Every pixel matters when it comes to color and clarity, especially with the canvas such as LG’s Ultra HD and OLED TVs.
